Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Diagnosis imaging and some treatment procedures are covered under the specialization of Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Nuclear Medicine Technologists carry out specific diagnostic imaging and treatment procedures.
They prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, use gamma camera technology to diagnose and manage diseases such as cancer, heart and thyroid disorders.

approximate salary: $49,081 – $63,355

high school preparation: Academic high school diploma with an emphasis on Sciences, English and Mathematics with an overall average greater than 75%.

academic requirements: Degree or diploma program in nuclear medicine.
